Curriculum and Teaching Features

(1) Curriculum Features

The master’s program focuses on cultivating design professionals who possess both theoretical research expertise and creative practice capabilities. It encompasses visual communication design, three-dimensional form design, installation art, public art, animation and multimedia design, video art, and design research. The program also prepares professional teachers in the field of visual arts.


(2) Curriculum Planning

The curriculum is divided into two areas: Design Theory and Design Creation. The program aims to equip students with the following competencies:

• Ability to conduct research in design theory.
• Ability to undertake design creation.
• Ability to apply design aesthetics in practice.
• Ability to develop innovative cross-disciplinary applications.
• Ability to lead teams and manage projects.
• Ability to engage in international exchange and present work internationally.
• Theoretical knowledge and practical application abilities in aesthetic education.
